Terms of Service

1. Definitions

  • Store Owner: Nord Public Design, registered in Horsens/DENMARK, CVR No. 43917404.

  • Customer: Any person or entity purchasing from the online store.

  • Consumer: A natural person acting for private purposes.

  • Parties: Store Owner and Customer collectively.

2. Applicability

These terms apply to all purchases, services, and deliveries through our Shopify store. Deviations are only valid if agreed upon in writing.

3. Pricing

  • Prices are in DKK (or EUR/USD), inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

  • Shipping and handling charges are calculated at checkout.

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time.

  • In case of significant unforeseen cost increases, the customer may cancel the order.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is required in full before order dispatch.

  • Shopify’s supported payment methods (e.g., card, PayPal) are available at checkout.

  • Failure to pay will result in order cancellation or delayed shipment.

5. Right of Withdrawal (Return Policy)

In accordance with EU law:

  • Consumers have 14 days from receipt to withdraw from the purchase without reason.

  • The product must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging.

  • Exemptions apply for:

    • Custom-made products

    • Perishable goods

    • Sealed hygiene products if opened

    • Digital content where download has begun with consent

Returns must be sent back within 14 days of notification. Return shipping is at the consumer’s expense unless otherwise agreed.

6. Refunds

  • Refunds (including initial shipping) will be made within 14 days of return approval.

  • We may withhold the refund until the product is received or proof of return is provided.

7. Delivery

  • Delivery is subject to product availability.

  • Orders are shipped to the address provided during checkout.

  • Shipping delays do not constitute grounds for compensation unless legally required.

8. Complaints

If you notice a defect or problem:

  • Notify us within 1 month of discovering the issue (consumers only).

  • Email a detailed description and proof of the issue to nordpublicdesign@gmail.com.

9. Warranty

We provide a 2-year statutory warranty for consumers under Danish law on manufacturing defects. Warranty does not cover:

  • Wear and tear

  • Improper use

  • Accidental damage

10. Liability

  • We are only liable for direct damages caused by intent or gross negligence.

  • No liability for indirect damages, such as loss of income or consequential loss.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, etc.).

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these terms. Major changes will be notified to customers via email or the website.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be settled in the courts of Denmark, unless otherwise required by law.
